Why I agree with the Sing Off eliminating Kinfolk 9

Last night on the Sing Off, the judges eliminated Kinfolk 9.  A decision that I originally was shocked by.  From the beginning Kinfolk 9 was my favorite, but it wasn't until this morning reflecting on the decision last night why that was.  MOI MOI MOI!  It was Moi Navarro's story at the beginning that made Kinfolk 9 the under dog that I wanted to vote for and when I heard Moi's power house of a voice, I knew he was an amazing talent.

The judges from the beginning saw what me and most of the views missed, that this is a group competition not American Idol.

I agree with the judges decision because when re watching Kinfolk 9's performances they do an amazing job showcasing amazingly talented soloists, not an amazing a capella group.  Each and everyone one of the singers of Kinfolk 9 are AMAZING singers.  If they would have just back off on the solos and focused more on the group blowing it out of the water, they would still be on the show :(

Contagion

Wow.

Talk about giving you the heebie geebies! I will never touch my face or a surface again without wondering what could be lingering! Contagion had a top notch cast including Gwyneth Paltrow, Matt Damon, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, to just name a few. Even though a lot wasn't shot in the locations the movie tried to depict, the storyline was very good and eerily realistic. There were many parallel story lines that even though they were taking place simultaneously you didn't feel pulled in different directions but rather was just parts of the bigger picture.

After reflecting on the movie on the way home I was intrigued to see a bit of hidden agenda against natural remedies. What don't you see if you can find it too all let me know what you thought in the comments below!

Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes

Hello my loyal followers!

I apologies for being MIA for the past few months, but I'm BACK!!!

One of the best movies I saw this summer was Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes. James Franco did an amazing job playing Will Rodman the “father” of the supertelligent ape Cesar. This movie close follows it’s predecessor Planet of the Apes perfectly and keeps the die hard fans intrigued while captivating new viewers that haven’t seen the original Planet of the Apes or it’s remake.

Black Swan, Natalie Portman’s best performance yet!

Black Swan, Natalie Portman’s best performance yet!
GO SEE IT! This isn’t your typical “dance” movie, it has depth, layers, and a storyline that will make you want to see it again and again. This is a movie that you can mimic the main character and get lost in. Natalie Portman’s puts on an outstanding performance as a ballerina, Nina Sayers, that strives for perfection and her struggle to take on the taxing character of both the white and black swan. The dancing is phenomenal and the story is engulfing and takes you on a crazy ride where you do know what is and is not real.
